Authorship Criteria

SENTRI: Jurnal Riset Ilmiah enforces rigorous authorship standards in accordance with global ethical publishing frameworks to ensure transparency, accountability, and fair intellectual attribution. Authorship credit must be grounded strictly on substantial individual contributions. To qualify as an author, every contributor must cumulatively meet four primary criteria: providing significant intellectual contributions to the conception, design of the study, acquisition of data, or analysis and interpretation of findings; drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for critical intellectual content; granting final approval of the definitive version to be published; and agreeing to be accountable for all aspects of the work by ensuring that questions regarding the accuracy or integrity of any part are appropriately addressed and resolved.

Individuals whose involvement is limited to technical assistance, language polishing, general laboratory supervision, administrative management, or securing funding do not qualify for authorship. Such valuable supportive contributions should be explicitly recognized in the Acknowledgments section of the manuscript, with formal consent obtained from the acknowledged parties.

The Corresponding Author serves as the primary liaison between the research team and the editorial office of SENTRI throughout the submission, peer review, copyediting, and publication stages. It is the responsibility of the Corresponding Author to ensure that all individuals meeting the authorship criteria are accurately listed in an agreed-upon sequence, verify that no honorary, gift, or ghost authors are included, and confirm that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the submitted version. Any subsequent addition, deletion, or rearrangement of author names following the initial submission requires a formal written justification accompanied by signed consent from all co-authors, subject to final approval by the Editor-in-Chief.
