Abstract

This study aims to: (1) develop the Nussadhatupoly educational board game for the subject of Buddhist Education and Character Building; (2) test the feasibility of developing the Nussadhatupoly educational board game as a learning medium; and (3) test the level of practicality and attractiveness of the Nussadhatupoly educational board game, as well as its ability to stimulate students' mindfulness. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Ampel for 24 weeks using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE instructional model. To ensure data validity in this study, content validity, construct validity, and reliability tests were utilized. The research results confirmed that this instrument met the highly feasible criteria across the aspects of material accuracy (98.33%), visual layout (92.00%), and psychological construction (98.00%). Empirical observations during the field implementation showed that this medium effectively facilitated sustained attention, present-moment awareness stimulation, and students' emotional regulation processes (95%). The end-user questionnaire confirmed the medium's level of practicality in the highly attractive category (91%). It can be concluded that Nussadhatupoly is proven valid and practical as an instrument to engineer the classroom environment to be more interactive and contemplative, moderate screen fatigue, and facilitate the understanding of Buddhist moral ethics.
