Efektivitas Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Abakus Pecahan Berbasis Unity untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berhitung Siswa Tunagrahita

Students with intellectual disabilities often face difficulties in understanding fraction operations because the material is abstract and requires concrete representation. This study examined the effectiveness of Unity-based interactive Abakus Pecahan media in improving the arithmetic skills of three class VIII-C students with mild intellectual disabilities at SLB Negeri Ungaran. The study used mixed methods with a concurrent embedded design, while the main quantitative design was Single Subject Research (SSR) using an A-B-A pattern. Data were collected through written tests, observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Quantitative data were analyzed using visual analysis within and between conditions, whereas qualitative data were used to explain changes in learning behavior. The results showed that all subjects improved during intervention and retained scores above baseline-1 after the media was withdrawn. The overlap percentage was 0%, indicating a functional relationship between media use and improved arithmetic performance. Affective and psychomotor aspects reached the very good category during intervention, and student responses averaged 93.94%. These findings indicate that the media is effective as an adaptive learning medium for teaching fraction operations to students with intellectual disabilities.
