Article Withdrawl

KANAKA: Jurnal Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini values academic integrity and is committed to maintaining high publication standards. We understand that there are instances where an article may need to be withdrawn after submission or publication. The following policy applies to the withdrawal of articles:

  1. Reasons for Withdrawal
Articles may be withdrawn from the publication process or after publication for valid reasons, including but not limited to:

    • Significant errors found in the data or analysis that cannot be corrected.

    • Discovery of plagiarism or other ethical violations.

    • Non-compliance with journal guidelines or substantial writing errors.

    • The author's request for withdrawal due to personal or professional reasons.

  2. Withdrawal Procedure
Authors must submit a formal withdrawal request via email to the editor of KANAKA, providing a clear explanation and supporting documentation if necessary. Once the request is received, the editor will evaluate the case and confirm whether the withdrawal can proceed. The withdrawal process may take up to 2 weeks, depending on the complexity of the case.

  3. Withdrawal After Publication
After an article is published, the withdrawal will be announced on the journal’s website, and the article will be marked as "Suspended" or "Rejected" on the publication page. The DOI of the withdrawn article will remain accessible, but the article will no longer be considered part of the official journal publication. All metadata related to the withdrawn article will be adjusted according to editorial policy.

  4. Final Decision
The decision regarding article withdrawal is at the discretion of the editor of KANAKA. All decisions will be made based on ethical considerations and academic integrity, with careful attention to the impact on the academic community.

We are committed to ensuring transparency and trust in every publication process and ensuring that all articles published in Journal A meet the highest standards of research quality and ethics.
