Abstract

Banjang District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency has a habit of defecating in the river, people are also used to doing activities such as bathing, washing, and taking drinking water in the river. People do not understand how important it is to maintain environmental health, especially against water pollution. The objectives of this study are: (1) To determine the implementation of the Hulu Sungai Utara Regency Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2016 concerning the Movement to Stop Open Defecation (STOPS BABS) (2) To determine the factors that influence the implementation of the Regional Regulation of Hulu Sungai Utara Regency Number 4 of 2016 concerning the Movement (STOPS BABS.The research results show. "The implementation of Hulu Sungai Utara Regency Regional Regulation Number 04 of 2016 concerning the Stop Exhaust Movement (BABS) in Banjang District (Case Study of Kalintamui Village, Kaludan Besar, Pelanjungan Sari)" has not been implemented properly, seen from the characteristic variables of problems in Banjang District.
