This study aims to explore how micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) implement adaptive strategies that lead to global readiness in the digital economy era. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were obtained through in-depth interviews with eight MSME actors. The findings reveal that the strategy of glocalization helps expand global market reach through digitalization, product innovation, the use of globally oriented social media, digital partnerships across regions, and the exploration of international market access. The research highlights that both digitalization and product innovation play crucial and complementary roles in enabling MSMEs in Sumbawa Regency to penetrate export markets amid increasingly competitive global economic challenges. Digital transformation facilitates easier access to market information, opens broader distribution networks, and enhances efficiency in marketing processes and communication with consumers. This study demonstrates that the courage and resilience of MSMEs have shown significant potential for integration into the global trade ecosystem. It underscores the importance of adapting to and leveraging digital technologies in modern business practices. Conceptually, this research contributes to a deeper understanding of locally based global strategies among small business actors. It emphasizes the need for continued mentoring, training, and the provision of technological infrastructure to achieve sustainable growth in the digital era.
Ika FitriyaniAmirul MustofaEddy Yunus

This study aims to analyze the influence of lifestyle, personality, and financial literacy on the behavior of online loan usage among Generation Z in Indonesia. The research employs a library research method to examine the impact of online loans on the financial and social behavior of Generation Z. This method allows the researcher to access and synthesize various relevant academic sources comprehensively. Data were obtained from scientific articles, accredited journals, conference proceedings, and research reports published between 2020 and 2025, focusing on issues such as online loans, consumer lifestyle, financial literacy, and the characteristics of Generation Z. The analysis was conducted descriptively and thematically to identify patterns, differences, and similarities across studies, and to formulate strategic recommendations based on the synthesized literature. The findings reveal that the use of online loans by Generation Z in Indonesia affects various aspects, including financial, social, and psychological domains. Key factors driving irresponsible borrowing include the ease of digital access, low financial literacy, and a consumerist lifestyle. Generation Z tends to use online loans for non-productive needs without considering their repayment capacity, leading to personal financial crises. Furthermore, social pressure from digital media and the phenomenon of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) exacerbate the situation, impacting mental health and social relationships. These findings highlight the urgent need for financial education and stricter regulations on fintech services to create a healthy and sustainable digital financial ecosystem for the younger generation.
Sandra Aulia PoernamaYani AchdianiMirna Nur Alia Abdullah

https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.ac.id/index.php/sentri/article/view/4375

This study aims to develop a collaborative promotional strategy for the Development Economics Study Program at Cordova University by adapting the Triple Helix approach, which involves synergy between universities, businesses, and government. Using a qualitative method with a descriptive-exploratory approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, document studies, and observations. The results indicate that the existing promotional strategy remains partial, institution-focused, and lacks coordination among units. However, there is significant potential from external factors such as alumni, local industry players, and government agencies. Alumni serve as institutional ambassadors, industry players validate the curriculum, and the government supports through policies and promotional access. The proposed promotional model positions the university as the center of academic narrative, the industry as the enforcer of job-market relevance, and the government as the connector to society. This approach addresses internal resource limitations and creates sustainable collaborative value. Although limited to one institution, this model holds potential for replication in similar contexts. Theoretically, this study expands the application of the Triple Helix model from innovation to higher education marketing strategies.
Agus Jayadi

Difficulties in obtaining information regarding inventory stock and in generating reports for incoming and outgoing goods have become persistent challenges for companies. To address these issues, an information system that meets the company's informational needs is required. This study aims to design a web-based inventory information system. In response to these challenges, it is necessary to develop a digital inventory recording system that is easily accessible, user-friendly, and relevant to the conditions of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The system should be capable of automating the recording process of incoming and outgoing goods, sending notifications when stock reaches the minimum threshold, and generating reports to support inventory planning and control. Given this background, the central research question is: How can a digital inventory recording system be designed for MSMEs in Manado City? A digital-based accounting information system can assist businesses, particularly MSMEs, in presenting reliable information in an effective, efficient, affordable, and user-friendly manner. The Waterfall model is a traditional method used in information system development. This method follows a sequential and structured process, starting from requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, to maintenance and updates. The proposed digital inventory recording system can assist MSMEs in tracking stock accurately, efficiently, and in real time. Features such as notifications, automated reporting, and a simple interface make this system easy to use and well-suited for the needs of small businesses. Additionally, the system is designed to support future digital integration.
Joseph TangonRaykes Hinrich TuerahJohana RatagDominikus Andreo MaryadiFandel MaluwRaymond F RombotAlpindos Toweula

This study analyzes the implementation of Medan Mayor Regulation Number 9 of 2009 concerning the prohibition of constructing buildings over drainage systems, examined through the lens of fiqh siyasah (Islamic political jurisprudence). The research focuses on the policy’s effectiveness in Medan Helvetia District and explores the extent to which fiqh siyasah principles provide normative and ethical justification for the regulation. Utilizing a juridical empirical legal approach combined with a socio-juridical method, the study reveals that the regulation’s enforcement faces significant challenges, including low public legal awareness, economic pressures, and inconsistent law enforcement. From an Islamic jurisprudential perspective, the policy aligns with the principles of maslahah (public interest) and maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah (objectives of Islamic law). However, its execution must incorporate justice, consultation (shūrā), and community education. The study recommends integrating positive law with Islamic ethical values to promote equitable, sustainable, and socially legitimate urban spatial governance.
M.
Internal migration among coastal communities is often viewed purely through an economic lens. In contrast, in reality, it involves complex social, cultural, and institutional dimensions that shape the formation of migrant communities. The Butonese fishing community on Derawan Island, Berau Regency, exemplifies how migration creates new social spaces rich in meaning, identity negotiation, and structural tensions. This study analyzes the migration process of Butonese fishers to Derawan Island. It explores how they establish a new community through social adaptation and the reproduction of cultural values, while also identifying structural challenges in integrating with local systems. Using a qualitative ethnographic approach through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and oral history documentation across five coastal villages, the study draws on Pierre Bourdieu’s theory of cultural capital, Fredrik Barth’s theory of ethnic boundaries, and Henri Lefebvre’s theory of the production of space. Findings indicate that migration occurred gradually through social networks, driven by ecological pressures, cultural values surrounding migration, and the desire to build a more stable livelihood. The Butonese community reproduces its social structure through collective labor, informal authority, and the creation of symbolic spaces known as the “Buton Group.” Despite achieving internal cohesion, they continue to face structural obstacles, including limited access to land legality, administrative recognition, and formal empowerment programs. This research underscores the need to understand coastal migration not merely as an economic or demographic movement, but as a socially embedded process involving identity, power, and spatial transformation.
Ichwanul JayaMunsi LampeSuparman Abdullah

Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a clinical condition caused by metabolic or pathological damage to the kidneys, characterized by a rapid and significant decline in kidney function along with elevated azotemia levels. This study aimed to analyze the occurrence of AKI due to the impact of drug therapy based on Drug Related Problems (DRPs) as categorized by the Pharmaceutical Care Network Europe (PCNE) in inpatients at Dr. Moewardi General Hospital in 2022. It also aimed to determine the effect of drug therapy on reducing leukocyte and urinary bacteria counts, as well as urea and creatinine levels in patients with infections not undergoing hemodialysis. This was a descriptive, non-experimental study using retrospective qualitative and quantitative methods. Quantitative data were analyzed using linear regression and paired sample t-test, while qualitative data were analyzed using the PCNE DRP classification. The study involved data from 10 patients diagnosed with AKI and infection without hemodialysis, with 18 DRP events identified. The analysis of drug therapy using the PCNE DRP framework showed an influence on kidney function, as several patients who were not initially diagnosed with AKI had elevated urea and creatinine levels upon examination, leading to an AKI diagnosis. However, the therapy given to these 10 patients was not optimal in addressing AKI. The analysis concluded that the drug therapy, although appropriate in its administration, did not significantly impact the reduction of leukocytes, urinary bacteria, or urea and creatinine levels, indicating that the therapeutic outcomes did not meet the expected results.
Indarto IndartoMeliana NovitasariDwi Joko YuliantoDwi Tri AgustinaLa Sakka

https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.ac.id/index.php/sentri/article/view/4373

Electricity demand forecasting is crucial for effective energy management, particularly in regions with unique consumption patterns like Palangkaraya. This study explores the application of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) enhanced by Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to improve forecasting accuracy. While traditional ANN models offer robust capabilities for handling nonlinear data, their performance is often limited by the challenge of identifying optimal model parameters. By integrating PSO, this research aims to refine parameter selection, thereby enhancing the predictive precision of the ANN model. The study compares the performance of the standalone ANN model and the ANN-PSO hybrid model. Results demonstrate that the ANN-PSO model significantly outperforms the standard ANN, achieving a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) reduction from 10.34% to 3.05%, and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) improvement from 1,061,485.57 to 366,879.94. These findings underscore the capability of the ANN-PSO approach to better capture the intricate patterns in electricity consumption data. The proposed model adapts effectively to the localized energy consumption characteristics in Palangkaraya, offering actionable insights for energy planners. By leveraging the strengths of both ANN and PSO, this research contributes to the development of more accurate and reliable forecasting tools, paving the way for optimized energy management strategies.
Tyas Wedhasari

The sweetpotato weevil (Cylas sp.) is one of the most damaging pests of sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L.), and its presence requires further investigation. This pest causes severe damage to both the stems and tubers, which are the economically valuable parts of the plant. Symptoms of infestation include the presence of holes in the tubers and stems, accompanied by a foul odor. This study aimed to determine the level of damage caused by Cylas sp. in six sweet potato cultivars. The research used an experimental method with a field trial, designed using a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD), consisting of six sweet potato cultivar treatments (U): Lato-lato (U1), Cilembu (U2), Thailand (U3), Kentang (U4), Ase (U5), and Purple (U6). Each treatment was repeated four times. The results showed that the six cultivars did not differ significantly in their susceptibility to Cylas sp. infestation. The cultivars that tended to suffer the highest damage were Lato-lato (9.04%) and Thailand (8.75%), while the Cilembu cultivar (U2) showed the lowest damage (0%). The highest tuber weight per plant was produced by the Ase cultivar (U5), at 1.05 kg per plant, while the greatest number of tubers per plant was found in the Lato-lato cultivar (U1), with 6.44 tubers per plant. There was a negative correlation between damage intensity and tuber weight, with R² = 0.786. The Ase cultivar is recommended as a superior variety due to its good resistance and high tuber yield.
Aulia AzizahBambang SupenoHery Haryanto

This study aims to develop a Montessori-based arithmetic operation book media to improve basic mathematical understanding in early childhood, especially grade B students at Aisyah Rahman Kindergarten. The background of this study is the low basic arithmetic ability of children caused by the use of conventional learning media such as worksheets and whiteboards that are less suitable for the learning characteristics of early childhood. Children at this stage learn through concrete activities, play, and manipulatives, so learning media that can facilitate these needs are needed. The research method used is the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The study was conducted at Aisyah Rahman Kindergarten with 25 students in group B as research subjects. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, documentation, and tests of understanding basic mathematical concepts (pretest and posttest). The results of the study showed that the Montessori-based arithmetic operation book media developed was assessed as very feasible in terms of content, design, and usability by experts. The implementation of media in learning showed a significant increase in students' mathematical comprehension scores, with an average pretest score of 54.2 and an increase to 84.8 in the posttest. This media encourages students' active involvement in learning and facilitates them in understanding mathematical concepts concretely through a discovery learning approach. Thus, this Montessori-based arithmetic operations book media is effective as an alternative learning medium to improve basic mathematical skills in early childhood and is in line with the characteristics of their cognitive development.
Hesti Dwi AnggrainiHisbiyatul HasanahIanatuz Zahro

https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.ac.id/index.php/sentri/article/view/4376

Saudi Arabia and Iran are two countries that serve as powerhouses in the Middle East region. They severed diplomatic relations following the vandalism and arson of the Saudi Arabian embassy in Iran in 2016. The attack was a response by the Iranian public to the Saudi government's execution of Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr. In 2023, Iran and Saudi Arabia normalized diplomatic relations through several agreements, including the reopening of embassies and the reactivation of security and trade agreements, facilitated by China in Beijing. This study focuses on the reasons why China chose to act as a mediator in the normalization process between Saudi Arabia and Iran. The research uses a qualitative-explanatory approach through the perspective of the Rational Actor Model. It is found that China's decision to act as a mediator was a rational choice that yielded more benefits through a cost-benefit analysis. These benefits include securing energy supplies, ensuring a stable investment climate, reducing the risk of cooperation failures, and opening up opportunities for further collaboration. On the other hand, the costs borne by China include the diplomatic burden of having to succeed in this mediation and the future expectations placed on China to maintain these benefits. An alternative policy is bilateral hedging, which also presents potential advantages such as saving diplomatic resources and fostering short-term trade relations. However, it also comes with drawbacks such as energy supply disruptions, damage to the investment climate, and the loss of strategic momentum and trust for China.
Yehezkiel PurbaPrihandono Wibowo

Participants were adolescents aged 12-18 who had lost a parent due to the death of one or both (orphans, orphans, orphans). This study used a quantitative correlation method. The sampling technique used was quota sampling, with a sample size of 100 respondents. Data collection tools included resilience scales, optimism scales, and peer support scales. The results of the minor hypothesis analysis on the optimism and resilience variables yielded an rx1y of 0.662 and a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.01), with an effective contribution of 43.8%. This indicates a highly significant positive relationship between optimism and resilience in adolescents who have lost a parent, thus accepting the first hypothesis. The minor hypothesis analysis on the peer support variable and resilience yielded an rx1y of 0.581 and a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.01), with an effective contribution of 33.7%. This indicates a highly significant positive relationship between peer support and resilience in adolescents who have lost a parent, thus accepting the second hypothesis. The correlation coefficient for the three variables, rx12y, was 0.743 and a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.01), with an effective contribution of 55.3%. This indicates that the major hypothesis is accepted, indicating a highly significant relationship between optimism and peer support and resilience in adolescents who have lost a parent.
Jesina HastutiLatifah Nur Ahyani

The selection of appropriate medication based on the symptoms experienced by patients is a crucial aspect of healthcare services, particularly in clinics like Klinik K-24 that handle various complaints quickly and efficiently. A common issue encountered is the subjectivity in medication selection, which can lead to inappropriate therapy and potential unwanted side effects. To address this issue, a system is needed that can assist in making objective and structured decisions. This study aims to design and develop a Decision Support System (DSS) to assist doctors or medical personnel at Klinik K-24 in determining the most appropriate medication choices based on the symptoms reported by patients. The method used in this research is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), which breaks down complex problems into a hierarchical structure and then compares criteria and alternatives to generate priority weights. The decision-making criteria include the effectiveness of the medication for the symptoms, side effects, availability in the clinic pharmacy, and medication cost. The medication alternatives analyzed are based on common symptoms such as fever, cough, and sore throat. The system's results show that the AHP method can provide structured medication recommendations with an acceptable level of consistency (CR < 0.1). With this DSS, the medication selection process is expected to become faster, more accurate, and standardized, thereby supporting the efficiency of medical services at Klinik K-24.
Farizi IlhamSartika Lina Mulani SitioNardiono Nardiono

The increasing demand for fossil fuel energy (BBM) has driven the development of renewable energy sources, one of which is biodiesel derived from microalgae. Chlorella sp. is a promising microalga due to its high lipid content. This study aims to determine the optimal concentration of tempeh wastewater for culturing Chlorella sp. to maximize lipid production as a raw material for biodiesel. The culture was carried out for five days using different treatments of tempeh wastewater: 0% (control using Walne fertilizer), 3%, 5%, 7%, and 9%. Observed parameters included temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, nitrate, phosphate, cell density, and lipid content, with lipid extraction performed using the Soxhlet method. The culture temperature ranged from 25-27°C, pH increased from acidic to neutral, and dissolved oxygen levels decreased at higher wastewater concentrations. The highest cell density was found in the 7% treatment (8.45 million cells/mL), although it was not significantly different from the other treatments. The highest lipid content was obtained at 3% wastewater (40.3%), which was higher than the control (21.3%) and other treatments. The decrease in lipid content at higher wastewater concentrations was attributed to toxicity and reduced media quality. It is concluded that a 3% concentration of tempeh wastewater is optimal for enhancing lipid production in Chlorella sp. as a sustainable biodiesel feedstock.
Arya Zikri Maulana LatifZahidah ZahidahEvi LiviawatyHeti Herawati

Organ transplantation is a surgical procedure intended to replace a completely damaged or non-functioning organ with healthy tissue obtained from a donor. This process, as regulated under Article 124 paragraph (1) of the Health Law, is conducted to cure certain medical conditions, restore essential bodily functions, and must be carried out solely for humanitarian purposes. Furthermore, Article 124 paragraph (3) prohibits any form of trade involving human organs or tissues, highlighting the ethical and legal concerns associated with commercialization. Therefore, understanding and analyzing the legal framework governing organ transplantation is of critical importance to ensure compliance with national regulations and uphold ethical standards in medical practice. This research adopts a normative legal approach, focusing on the analysis of laws and regulations. In Indonesia, legal aspects of organ transplantation are regulated by Law No. 1268/2001, and further supported by several ministerial regulations, including Minister of Health Decree No. 17 of 2023, No. 53 of 2021, and Ministerial Regulation No. 38 of 2016.
Taufik AzizEfrila EfrilaTri Agus Suswantoro

This study aims to investigate the influence of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance on real earnings management (REM) practices, with cash holdings acting as a moderating variable, in non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research employs a quantitative approach with purposive sampling, yielding 90 firm-year observations from companies that disclosed complete ESG scores between 2021 and 2023. The data were analyzed using panel data multiple linear regression to test the proposed hypotheses. The findings reveal that higher ESG performance is negatively and significantly associated with real earnings management, indicating that companies with stronger sustainability commitments are less likely to engage in REM practices. However, cash holdings were found not to moderate the relationship between ESG performance and REM, suggesting that liquidity alone does not influence the effectiveness of ESG in curbing earnings manipulation. These results underscore the importance of ESG as a mechanism for enhancing financial reporting quality and corporate transparency. They also offer practical implications for investors, regulators, and other stakeholders, encouraging them to view ESG metrics not only as indicators of sustainability but also as proxies for corporate ethical behavior and integrity in financial disclosures.
Irma SriwijayantiDelina Herdian SeptianiHani Fitria RahmaniMuhammad Alam MauludinaRicky Brian D.P.
This research is motivated by the widespread ethical violations in the practice of maritime cargo distribution, which reflect a weak integration of moral and spiritual values in maritime logistics management. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the implementation of the values of trustworthiness (amanah) and responsibility in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as an ethical foundation that can strengthen professionalism and integrity in the management and distribution of maritime cargo. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using in-depth interview techniques, participatory observation, and document study to explore the implementation of the values of trustworthiness and responsibility in cargo and maritime distribution management. Informants were selected purposively, and the data were analyzed thematically using the Miles, Huberman & Saldana (2014) model, with validation through triangulation, member checking, and expert discussions. The study concludes that the values of trustworthiness and responsibility taught in Islamic Religious Education have been internalized in the practice of cargo and maritime distribution management through accuracy, honesty, and work discipline. Managerial approaches such as routine evaluations, character training, and reward & punishment systems further reinforce the organizational implementation of these values. Therefore, PAI values deserve to be strategically integrated into the maritime logistics work system as a sustainable moral and professional ethical foundation.
Carlos Lazaro PrawirosastroToto Dwijaya Saputra

This study aims to examine the relationship between coping with stress, Fear of Missing Out (FoMO), and Joy of Missing Out (JoMO) among adolescents. Using a quantitative correlational approach, the research involved 100 students aged 15–18 years from SMK CORDOVA, selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using validated Likert-scale instruments measuring FoMO, JoMO, and coping stress. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis. Results showed that FoMO and JoMO significantly predict coping stress (R = 0.698, R² = 0.487, p < 0.01), with FoMO exhibiting a negative correlation (r = -0.522, p < 0.01) and JoMO a positive correlation (r = 0.436, p < 0.01) with coping stress. These findings indicate that FoMO has a negative relationship with coping stress, while JoMO has a positive relationship with coping stress. So, it can be concluded that the higher the FoMO in adolescents, the worse it will be in coping with stress. And vice versa, the higher the JoMO, the better the ability to cope with stress.
Riski Rahmad RamadhaniAdinda Amelia FaqihuddinAhmad Faqihuddin

https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.ac.id/index.php/sentri/article/view/4374

The enactment of Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning Criminal Acts of Sexual Violence in harmony with Islam, as stated in the Qur'an, QS. An-Nur verse 33. Prohibiting violence against women also contradicts the values of monotheism, and Al-Insaniyah is a concrete manifestation and gift for women in Indonesia. It has very comprehensive content regulating the classification of criminal acts of sexual violence, physical sexual harassment, forced contraception, forced sterilization, forced marriage, sexual torture, sexual exploitation, sexual slavery, and electronic-based sexual violence. It establishes appropriate penalties and optimizes the prevention and handling of cases of sexual violence in Indonesia, which continues to show a high level every year. However, its implementation has not been as optimal as desired by victims and the public due to several obstacles, including: 1) Not all derivative regulations of the TPKS Law have been enacted; 2). Limited human resources, facilities, infrastructure, and operational costs, and only 30 percent of districts/cities in Indonesia have safe houses for victims of sexual violence.
A.
A common issue that often occurs in community health centers (puskesmas) is the mismatch in drug availability, where there is either an oversupply or a shortage, and expired or damaged medicines are still found in storage. This problem stems from poor drug management systems within the facilities. This study aimed to assess the availability of medicines in public health centers across the Banjarmasin City area in 2024. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was used, involving six puskesmas selected through total sampling. Data was collected over one month, from May to June 2025, and analyzed descriptively to determine the percentage match between drug requests and actual receipts. The findings showed that the average match between requested and received drugs was 98.1%. However, in terms of availability, 60.8% of the drugs were categorized as out of stock, 7.2% as insufficient, 17.3% as sufficient, and 14.7% as oversupplied. These results indicate that despite a high match rate between requested and received drugs, the overall availability of medicines in Banjarmasin Timur puskesmas is inadequate, with most categorized as out of stock.
Tria FatmalikaIwan YuwindryYusuf Anggoro MuktiDewi Susanti Atmaja

Nurul Ummi RofiahAditya Naufal PribadhiDian Rudy YanaRatna Widyaningrum

Employees receive routine services and compensation in the form of salaries as part of their work performance through company operations. However, several companies still rely on manual payroll processing, including those that participated in a recent business exhibition. One such company continues to use Microsoft Office applications to manage payroll data manually. This outdated method significantly slows down the process of generating employee payslips and frequently leads to calculation errors in employee compensation. Furthermore, the Human Resources Department (HRD) is required to manually verify all data before integrating the final salaries of permanent employees into the monthly payroll report. This process is not only time-consuming but also increases the risk of human error and administrative inefficiency. As a response to these challenges, the company developed a web-based employee compensation information system. This system is designed to automate the entire payroll process, from attendance tracking and allowance calculation to deductions and payslip generation. With simultaneous salary data entry and report generation, the system improves business performance, enhances accuracy, and reduces processing time. The final outcome of this study is an automated payroll system that adheres to predefined business rules and allows for easy future updates. Most importantly, it helps reduce human error in payroll calculations by up to 60%, offering a more efficient and reliable payroll management solution.
Yeskarwani GuloAndin Eka SafitriWillis Puspita Sari

Degenerative diseases linked to oxidative stress are becoming increasingly common, pushing researchers to explore natural compounds with antioxidant properties like flavonoids as potential alternatives for treatment. One promising source is Basella rubra L., or binahong leaves, which are traditionally used in herbal medicine and known to contain these beneficial compounds. This study set out to find out just how much flavonoid is in binahong leaf extract, and whether using different types of solvents during the extraction process would impact the results. The process began with a maceration technique using 70% ethanol to extract the active compounds. The extract was then separated into three fractions using a step-by-step method with n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and distilled water. To check the flavonoid content, the researchers applied a color-based test with FeCl₃ and also measured the levels using UV-Vis spectrophotometry at 417 nm. It turned out that all fractions contained flavonoids, but in varying amounts. The n-hexane fraction showed the highest level, followed by ethyl acetate, with distilled water yielding the lowest. These results highlight how the choice of solvent especially its polarity plays a key role in how effectively flavonoids are extracted from plants.
Gusria Surya NingsihRohama RohamaFebby Yulika HastikaKunti Nastiti

Rational drug use plays a crucial role in managing chronic conditions, including gout. This disease occurs due to the accumulation of uric acid crystals in the joints, typically caused by elevated blood uric acid levels (hyperuricemia). In outpatient care settings, limited access to laboratory facilities often becomes a barrier to proper monitoring. This study aims to evaluate the rationality of drug use in gout patients at Ulin Regional Hospital, Banjarmasin, using a descriptive observational method with a retrospective approach. Data were collected from 78 outpatient medical records from 2023 to 2024, selected through purposive sampling. The evaluation focused on five key aspects: proper indication, correct drug selection, appropriate patient, accurate dosage, and awareness of potential side effects. The findings revealed that all patients received treatment that met rational standards, and no adverse drug reactions were reported. Most patients had a history of gout lasting 1–2 years. Although laboratory data on uric acid levels were not available, clinical monitoring based on symptoms and patient responses was carried out effectively. This suggests that clinical approaches can still ensure appropriate therapy in resource-limited settings. Overall, the medication used was deemed rational, and clinical evaluation served as a practical alternative to laboratory-based monitoring.
Bella Aprilia PunlinDarini KurniawatiYusuf Anggoro MuktiDewi Susanti Atmaja

Excessive self-criticism is a common psychological problem experienced by students and has a significant impact on mental health and academic achievement. Self-criticism is the tendency to set high standards for oneself and then punish oneself if they do not meet those standards. This research seeks to evaluate the efficacy of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) in reducing self-criticism in students of MTs Negeri 2 Jember. The approach applied was a quasi-experimental design involving pretest-posttest with control groups, comprising 30 students recruited through purposive sampling, with 8 participants as the sample who had high levels of self-criticism. The instrument used was a self-criticism scale with three indicators: Inadequate Self, Hated Self, and Reassured Self. The results showed that the application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy was significantly effective in reducing self-criticism in MTs students. The independent samples t-test revealed a notable variance between control groups, yielding a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). CBT has been shown to significantly reduce self-criticism scores from high to moderate or low. Therefore, CBT can be an effective approach to supporting students' mental health, particularly in addressing tendencies to blame and devalue themselves excessively.
Ines SorayaWeni Kurnia RahmawatiNailul Fauziyah

The legality of cannabis for medical purposes in Indonesia is an evolving issue, driven by increasing scientific evidence of its therapeutic potential and growing public demands for the fulfillment of health rights. This study aims to evaluate the urgency of medical cannabis legalization using a normative juridical approach and an in-depth literature review. The method employed is a literature review with qualitative analysis techniques to identify and examine the gap between the prevailing legal norms in Indonesia and empirical developments and global precedents. The findings indicate that cannabis contains active compounds such as THC and CBD, which have been proven effective in treating various chronic and neurological medical conditions, such as refractory epilepsy, cancer, and cerebral palsy. However, the classification of cannabis as a Category I narcotic under Law No. 35 of 2009 is a major obstacle to its medical use. These findings suggest the need for adaptive legal reform and health policies based on scientific evidence to ensure public access to safe and effective therapeutic options. In addition, the legalization of medical cannabis, accompanied by strict regulation, also has the potential to reduce dependence on opioids and promote the development of the national phytopharmaceutical industry. Therefore, the legalization of medical cannabis should be considered a strategic step in strengthening the healthcare system and protecting human rights in Indonesia.
Yemima Putri KarunianingsihJonathan KushantoroMatthew Stanley Edward Lowing

https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.ac.id/index.php/sentri/article/view/4316

This research is a descriptive qualitative study aimed at understanding the social interaction abilities of students with special needs (SEN) in schools, as well as the role of the Guidance and Counseling (GC) program in fostering these abilities. The research subjects included the GC teacher, principal, vice principal, SEN students, their peers, and the parents of SEN students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings indicate that the school adopts an inclusive approach, providing a special admission pathway for SEN students during enrollment and offering opportunities for participation in school activities such as art performances and Islamic holiday celebrations. GC teachers play an active role in providing individualized counseling services tailored to the needs of the students, and in building communication with homeroom teachers and parents. The social interaction skills of SEN students develop gradually within the school's inclusive and supportive environment. The implemented GC programs are not significantly different from those for regular students but still take into account the individual needs of SEN students. Collaboration between GC teachers, the school, and parents plays a crucial role in supporting the development of the students' social skills.
Kholifah LindianiSiti Hajar

https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.ac.id/index.php/sentri/article/view/4407

This study aims to determine the effect of brand image on consumer purchasing decisions for Naila Cookies products. Brand image is one of the key factors in shaping consumer perceptions of product quality and credibility. The research uses a quantitative associative approach with a total of 30 respondents who are consumers of Naila Cookies. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression with SPSS version 26. The results show that brand image has a positive and significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions, with a regression coefficient value of 0.816 and a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The R Square value of 0.490 indicates that brand image explains 49% of the variation in purchasing decisions. These findings suggest that the better a product’s brand image, the higher the likelihood of consumer purchases. Therefore, MSMEs like Naila Cookies need to strengthen their brand image to increase customer loyalty and buying interest.
Yanti NirmalaWulandari Asri

https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.ac.id/index.php/sentri/article/view/4517

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of individual counseling services using the Cognitive Defusion technique in improving the self-confidence of tenth-grade students at MAN Lumajang. This technique, which is part of the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach, helps individuals reduce the influence of negative thoughts by changing their perspective rather than eliminating the thoughts themselves. The background of this research lies in the low level of self-confidence among students, characterized by feelings of inferiority, self-doubt, fear of speaking in public, and withdrawal from social interactions. Such conditions hinder the learning process, social interaction, and personal development. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with two tenth-grade students identified as having low self-confidence based on initial observation and recommendations from school counselors. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and validated through source triangulation. The results indicated that the application of Cognitive Defusion techniques in individual counseling enhanced students’ courage to speak, participate, and interact with peers. In conclusion, individual counseling using the Cognitive Defusion technique is effective in fostering students’ self-confidence.
Rafidah HaniyahAde Irma NoviyantiBhennita Sukmawati
