This research also aims to compare al-Faruqi's ideas with other Muslim thinkers in order to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the integration of science in Islam. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data was collected from primary sources in the form of al-Faruqi's works, such as Islamization of Knowledge , as well as various secondary literature that discussed his thoughts. The analysis is carried out in a descriptive-analytical manner with a critical approach to the concept of Islamization of the knowledge he developed, and examines how this concept can be applied in the modern Islamic education system. The results of the study show that the concept of Islamization of science introduced by al-Faruqi aims to eliminate the dichotomy between religious science and modern science by making Islam the basis of epistemology in all scientific fields. Al-Faruqi emphasized that the Islamization of science is not just adding religious elements to secular science, but reconstructing science based on a comprehensive Islamic perspective. This concept has been implemented in various Islamic educational institutions, although it still faces challenges in its widespread application. By understanding the concept of al-Faruqi more deeply, it is hoped that Muslims can develop a more integrative and oriented education system that is oriented authentically towards Islamic values.

Nuryanti, Helmiati, M Nazir Copyright (c) 2025 Nuryanti, Helmiati, M Nazir https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.ac.id/index.php/jige/article/view/3982 Sat, 16 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Pengaruh Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) Menggunakan Pendekatan Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) Terhadap Minat Dan Kemampuan Menulis Deskripsi Siswa Kelas 5 Gugus 3 Kecamatan Makassar https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.ac.id/index.php/jige/article/view/3990
This study aims to describe students' interest and writing ability using the Problem-Based Learning model combined with the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach. This research aims to implement and analyze the Content-Based Filtering (CBF) algorithm in a product recommendation system using the MySQL database. The CBF algorithm works by recommending products similar to those already liked or purchased by the user based on the features of those products. In this context, features such as product category, brand, and text description are used to generate relevant recommendations. The implementation of this algorithm involves using Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to extract features from product descriptions stored in the database. The first phase of this research involves collecting and processing product data to ensure consistency and readiness for further analysis. Key features of each product are then extracted and their similarities calculated using the CBF algorithm. Subsequently, the recommendation results are tested and evaluated using performance metrics such as Precision and Recall to determine the system's effectiveness in providing relevant and beneficial recommendations to users. The research findings indicate that the CBF algorithm can provide fairly accurate and relevant product recommendations, enhancing user satisfaction by offering product choices that match their preferences. Performance evaluation also demonstrates that the system is effective in recognizing user preference patterns and providing useful suggestions. Additionally, the use of the MySQL database offers advantages in efficient data management and processing. With this recommendation system, it is expected to improve user satisfaction and engagement in the e-commerce platform. The use of CBF techniques enables the system to continually learn and adapt to user preferences, providing increasingly relevant recommendations over time.
Aryoga Pranata, Feri Sulianta Copyright (c) 2025 Aryoga Pranata, Feri Sulianta https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.ac.id/index.php/jige/article/view/4017 Wed, 20 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Pengaruh Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi Melalui Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing Terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah dan Hasil Belajar Ipas Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri Borongkaramasa Kab. Despite Mandalika SEZ’s great potential through hosting international events such as MotoGP, the involvement of local communities in sport tourism activities remains limited. A qualitative approach was applied, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis employed SWOT and PESTEL frameworks, supported by triangulation to ensure data validity. The findings indicate that sustainable sport tourism development requires four key strategies: (1) collaboration between event organizers and local communities, (2) capacity building through training and digital promotion systems, (3) the formulation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for community involvement and partnership regulations, and (4) legal and economic protection for local stakeholders. These strategies are implemented through community asset mapping, needs-based training, the formation of communication forums, and participatory evaluation. This study contributes to the development of a participatory sport tourism model within a special economic zone framework, positioning local communities as active agents of development.
Abdul Hamid, Amirosa Ria Satiadji, Lukia Zuraida Copyright (c) 2025 Abdul Hamid, Amirosa Ria Satiadji, Lukia Zuraida https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.ac.id/index.php/jige/article/view/4030 Fri, 22 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Pengaruh Pembelajaran Berbasis Digital Berbantuan Wordwall Terhadap Minat dan Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas V SD Gugus 1 Kecamatan Bontomarannu Kabupaten Gowa https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.ac.id/index.php/jige/article/view/4037
This work aims to determine the relationship between Wordwall learning and the interests and learning outcomes of class V SD Gugus 1, Bontomarannu District, Gowa Regency. Women who marry under the age of 20 are often subjected to multiple forms of social stigma, including physical stereotypes, moral judgments, and social exclusion. This study aims to explore how these young women manage the stigma they face through interpersonal communication strategies. A qualitative approach with a multiple-case study design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with five early-married women residing in East Lombok. The analysis utilized Meisenbach’s (2010) Stigma Management Communication Theory to identify the types of stigma experienced and the communicative strategies adopted. The findings reveal that the participants encountered three main types of stigma: physical (e.g., being perceived as too young), moral (e.g., viewed as irresponsible), and social (e.g., exclusion from social gatherings). In response, the women employed strategies such as acceptance, avoidance, emotional minimization, and affirmation. These responses were shaped by contextual factors, including the nature of their relationship with the stigmatizer. These communication strategies helped the women maintain psychological resilience and navigate their social environments while preserving self-confidence and agency. This study contributes to the fields of interpersonal communication, gender studies, and stigma management by demonstrating how young women in conservative cultural settings resist negative labeling through context-sensitive communication. The findings underscore the need for culturally grounded support systems to empower early-married women and reduce harmful societal stigmas.
Aulia Dina Islami, Lukman Hakim Copyright (c) 2025 Aulia Dina Islami, Lukman Hakim https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.ac.id/index.php/jige/article/view/4087 Sun, 24 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Implementation of Singular Value Decomposition with Constraint Base Approach for Internship Recommendation System for Vocational High School Students https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.ac.id/index.php/jige/article/view/4179
Vocational education in Indonesia, especially through Vocational High Schools, plays a crucial role in preparing students for the workforce. However, mismatches between student competencies and industry requirements often result in ineffective internship placements. This study focuses on SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh, where the internship placement process has been carried out manually and lacks an objective and personalized system. To address this challenge, a hybrid recommendation system was developed by combining Singular Value Decomposition with a constraint-based approach. The SVD method predicts student-industry compatibility by uncovering latent patterns in the rating data, while constraint-based filtering ensures that recommendations meet specific criteria such as major compatibility, skill alignment, and availability of industry capacity. The system was implemented as a web-based application using Python and MySQL, providing real-time recommendations with response times between one and three seconds. Testing with data from 344 students and more than 120 industry partners at SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh demonstrated the system’s ability to generate accurate and relevant recommendations. For example, although an industry with a predicted rating of 0.58 matched the student’s major and skills, it was not recommended due to full capacity. Instead, another industry with a lower predicted rating of 0.44 was recommended because it met all the required constraints. This system helps schools carry out internship placements more objectively, efficiently, and in alignment with student profiles and industry.
Nugraha Muhammad Taufik, Wahyu Fuadi, Maryana Copyright (c) 2025 Nugraha Muhammad Taufik, Wahyu Fuadi, Maryana https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.ac.id/index.php/jige/article/view/4179 Sun, 24 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Religious Education in Shaping Professional Religious Character: Analysis of Personality Development Courses in Public Universities https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.ac.id/index.php/jige/article/view/4208
This study explores the role of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in shaping students' professional religious character within higher education. Amidst growing challenges from globalization, digital culture, and moral relativism, the integration of religious values into university curricula becomes essential. Through a qualitative-descriptive approach supported by survey and document analysis, this research examines how IRE courses contribute to students' moral reasoning, spiritual development, and ethical decision-making. The findings reveal that well-structured religious education enhances students’ understanding of Islamic principles while also fostering leadership, empathy, and resilience. Lecturers employ interactive teaching methods, such as case studies, mentoring, and community engagement, to internalize values of integrity, discipline, and accountability. However, the study also identifies barriers, including religious pluralism, limited instructional time, and the gap between theoretical knowledge and workplace demands. To address these challenges, the study recommends curriculum reform, stakeholder collaboration, and a more interdisciplinary approach linking religion with practical competencies. The research concludes that IRE plays a transformative role not only in shaping students’ moral foundations but also in preparing them to navigate complex professional environments with spiritual integrity and ethical clarity.
Dilan Imam Adilan, Mu’min Copyright (c) 2025 Dilan Imam Adilan, Mu’min https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.ac.id/index.php/jige/article/view/4208 Sun, 24 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Saku Norma Terhadap Hasil Belajar Pendidikan Pancasila materi norma Kelas IV Sd Negeri Girikerto 2 https://ejournal.nusantaraglobal.ac.id/index.php/jige/article/view/3865
The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of pocket norm media can help fourth grade students of Girikerto State Elementary School in improving their Pancasila education learning outcomes. In Waihatu Village, West Kairatu District, West Seram Regency, rice farmers encounter several obstacles, including limited access to modern technology, market information, and the impacts of climate change, all of which affect crop productivity. This descriptive qualitative study aims to examine the effectiveness of social capital in supporting farmers' productive activities. The research took place in Waihatu Village and involved data collection through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that social capital is already embedded in the interactions between rice farmers and buyers, demonstrating its positive effect on increasing farmer productivity. Key elements of social capital—trust, social networks, and social norms—play a significant role in enhancing agricultural output. Trust among farmers fosters cooperation and mutual assistance, especially in the exchange of knowledge about improved farming techniques. Social networks support the distribution of agricultural products, improve access to business capital, and strengthen ties between farmers and buyers.
