This study examines strategies for strengthening Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) medical personnel in countering bioterrorism to support national defense. Using a qualitative literature review, the study analyses biological agents, preparedness, early detection, response procedures, and inter-agency coordination. The findings reveal gaps in specialized training, detection infrastructure, crisis management, and military-civilian collaboration. The study recommends continuous training, dedicated response units, upgraded military health facilities, integrated surveillance, and stronger coordination with the Ministry of Health and other agencies.
