The development of tourism villages in Garut still faces several challenges, including the low competence of BUMDes human resources, suboptimal management transparency, and limited understanding of innovation-based tourism village concepts. In addition, inadequate infrastructure and internet access hinder digital promotion, while existing tourism products lack a strong distinctive icon as a main attraction. Business incubation programs and digital marketing initiatives have also not been optimally implemented. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to enhance the competitiveness of Desa Wisata Domba through three main strategies: developing a distinctive product icon as the village identity, providing digital marketing training for tourism managers and MSMEs, and strengthening a business incubation program based on institutional capacity and product innovation. The activities are carried out through preparation, socialization, training, mentoring, evaluation, and dissemination stages. The expected outputs include optimization of the village’s product icon, improved human resource and institutional capacity, implementation of digital marketing practices, and the establishment of a sustainable tourism village incubation plan. The program also supports the MBKM policy by actively involving students. Through multi-stakeholder collaboration, this initiative is expected to promote more professional, competitive, and sustainable tourism village management.
Hedi CupiadiHani Siti HanifahMarissa Disthy PutriHusni Muharam

The use of electrical energy is a vital need for MSMEs, but dependence on conventional energy leads to high operational costs. As a tropical country, Indonesia has abundant solar energy potential with an average irradiation intensity of 4.80 kWh/m²/day. However, its utilization is still minimal. Solar lighting technology can be an efficient, environmentally friendly, and energy independence solution, especially in areas with limited access to electricity. The main problems are the high cost of electricity, dependence on PLN, lack of use of renewable energy technology, and limited capital and knowledge. The solutions offered include solar lighting installation, training in use and maintenance, and the provision of affordable financing schemes. The implementation method includes survey, training, installation and trial. MSME players can now benefit from the use of solar lights, which are not only cost-efficient, but also support the sustainability of their businesses by reducing their reliance on more expensive conventional energy sources. In addition, the use of renewable energy technology also supports the principles of sustainability and environmental friendliness, which are in line with the goal of developing a greener and more sustainable business.
Anhar KhalidMuhammad KasimAkbar Ela HekaRaihan RaihanFitria Fitria

Stunting remains a public health problem that requires preventive measures starting from the preconception period. One of the strategic target groups in stunting prevention is prospective brides and grooms through increasing knowledge about healthy pregnancies. However, limited counselor capabilities in delivering material and the use of less engaging educational media are obstacles in the premarital counseling process. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to increase the capacity of counselors in creating educational media and increasing prospective brides and grooms' knowledge about healthy pregnancies as an effort to prevent stunting. The activity was carried out at the Pusaka Johan Pahlawan KUA Office in West Aceh Regency through educational methods, training in creating educational media using Canva, hands-on practice, discussions, and pre-test and post-test evaluations. The activity targets 4 counselors and 30 prospective brides and grooms. The results of the activity showed an increase in the knowledge of prospective brides and grooms, with the average score (mean) increasing from 1.33 in the pre-test to 2.60 in the post-test, while the standard deviation changed from 0.63 to 0.70. Among counselors, the average knowledge score increased from 1.25 to 2.50, with a standard deviation of 0.50 to 0.58, after participating in the training. Furthermore, all counselors were able to create more engaging and communicative educational media to support premarital counseling. This activity has proven effective in increasing counselor capacity and prospective brides' knowledge regarding healthy pregnancies. These improvements are expected to support the optimization of premarital counseling services and contribute to accelerating the reduction of stunting rates through healthy pregnancy preparation from preconception.
Rina JuliantiArpina FajarnitaNasrullah NasrullahRikaoctriantiaskar RikaoctriantiaskarEvi Kristina

The rapid acceleration of digital transformation is compelling organisations to build greater awareness of technology governance and the risks it entails. Despite the fact that this group will occupy strategic roles in organizational governance practice in the years ahead, the understanding of IT governance and digital risk management remains relatively limited among accounting students. This community service activity aims to enhance the understanding of young members of the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) regarding technology governance and risk management in the context of digitalisation, delivered through a webinar on 23 May 2026. The activity was a collaboration between the Young Members of IAI West Java Region and the Doctoral Program in Accounting Sciences at Universitas Padjadjaran, with 87 active participants from 11 higher-education institutions. The program was designed using a participatory educational approach comprising three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation of the program. The effectiveness of the activity was measured using a Likert scale questionnaire (1–5) covering four aspects: material quality, presenter delivery, participant comprehension and webinar benefits. Evaluation results indicated very good ratings across all aspects, with an overall mean above 4.40 out of 5.00. The activity contributed to the development of participants' initial competencies in understanding IT governance frameworks, risk management processes based on ISO 31000:2018 and COSO, and awareness of digital risks within organisational contexts. Findings from the discussion session revealed participants' need for more applied understanding, particularly regarding the preparation of risk registers within organisations, indicating the need for more structured, continuing capacity-development programmes.
Farhatun NisaCitra SukmadilagaMoh.
Dadiah, a traditional fermented food of Minangkabau, has high nutritional potential for stunting prevention, but it is not widely known by the public and lacks adequate information media. This community service activity aimed to develop motion graphic information media as a branding tool for Dadiah for the community and the Health Office in West Sumatra. The implementation method consisted of three stages, namely pre-design (observation, interviews, literature study, documentation), design (vector illustration creation, animation, voice over recording), and final design (video rendering). Data were analyzed qualitatively using descriptive interpretative analysis, content analysis, visual analysis, and SWOT analysis. The design resulted in a motion graphic video of 2 minutes and 45 seconds duration with Full HD resolution (1920x1080) covering 7 scenes about the definition of stunting, prevalence data, impacts, prevention, introduction of Dadiah, nutritional content, and consumption appeals. This video applied the principles of visual communication design with Montserrat typography, flat design illustration, yellow and green colors, and smooth animation. The activity concluded that the resulting motion graphic can be an effective information medium for the Health Office and the community in efforts to prevent stunting through the introduction of Dadiah as a superior local food.
Robby UsmanWidia MartaFathurrahman Fathurrahman

Public service mall (MPP) is one of the policies that has been present in almost all regions of Indonesia and contributes to creating public services including effective and efficient licensing. However, until now, there are still people in Kupang City including Bello Village who do not know the existence of MPP Kupang City and have not utilised the available public service facilities. These conditions reflect two problems, namely (1) lack of knowledge, understanding, and legal awareness of the community regarding the existence of MPP and the types of services provided, and (2) the low level of community participation in utilising various public services available at MPP Kupang City. In response to the problem, the PKM team of the Faculty of Law, Catholic University of Widya Mandira carried out community service regarding the transformation of licensing services through MPP. The method applied is in the form of legal counselling combined with interactive discussion. In the activity, the speakers conveyed material about the legal basis of the implementation of MPP, definition, purpose, benefits of MPP, MPP organiser in Kupang City, location of MPP Kupang City, MPP service provider Kupang City, implementation of services in MPP, and Agencies that join in the implementation of public services including licensing through MPP Kupang City. The PKM team also emphasised community participation in accessing services through MPP Kupang City including complying with the established procedures and service flows. Through this PKM initiative, the public has gained a better understanding of the services provided through the MPP, including the requirements and necessary documents, and has been encouraged to participate in and make use of the services provided through the MPP.
Benediktus Peter LayMary Grace Megumi MaranAgrifin Bernadeth Criemen LokovettorYoachina Da Cunha FernadesMaria Elvira Suni

Pogostemon cablin (patchouli) is an essential oil–producing plant with high economic value, widely used in the perfume, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries. North Buton Regency has strong potential for patchouli development, particularly through the Harapan Baru Patchouli Farmers Group. However, patchouli cultivation still faces challenges due to dependence on expensive and often scarce chemical fertilizers, which also negatively affect soil fertility and the environment. This community service program was designed to increase patchouli productivity through the utilization of organic fertilizers derived from agricultural waste while simultaneously strengthening the institutional capacity of the farmer group. Activities included problem identification through field observation, coordination with relevant stakeholders, and socialization sessions to enhance farmers’ understanding and motivation. Technology implementation was carried out through training on the production of organic fertilizers, application of fertilizers to crops, organic-based patchouli maintenance, and institutional strengthening through management, administrative, and partnership development training. Continuous mentoring and periodic evaluation were conducted to assess farmers’ knowledge, skills, and the impact of organic fertilizer use on plant growth. The results showed significant improvements: farmers’ understanding of organic fertilizers increased from 30% to 90%, their ability to produce solid and liquid organic fertilizers improved by more than 60%, and patchouli production reached approximately 200 kg per month. The use of organic fertilizers increased patchouli oil productivity by 10–20%, with better distillation quality (clearer color, softer aroma, and higher yield). Institutionally, active membership increased by 75%, financial reporting capacity improved by 70%, and the organizational structure became more defined through formal bylaws and standard operating procedures. Overall, the program successfully fostered group self-reliance, strengthened member solidarity, and promoted an environmentally friendly and economically valuable sustainable agricultural system.
Ridwan RidwanLa Aman TabiaLa Ode ZainudinKamelia KameliaAyu Ayu

Violence in school settings remains a common problem, whether in the form of physical, verbal, or digital (cyberbullying) violence. This phenomenon runs counter to the goals of national education, which aim to create a safe and conducive learning environment. This community service activity aims to enhance the legal understanding and awareness of students at SMP Negeri 15 Kota Kupang regarding the prevention of violence from a criminal law perspective. The method employed involves legal outreach through the stages of preparation, implementation, and evaluation using an educational outreach approach. The material presented covered forms of violence, their impact on victims, and legal consequences based on the Criminal Code and Law No. 11 of 2012 on the Juvenile Criminal Justice System. The activity was evaluated through interactive discussion sessions to measure students’ level of understanding before and after the activity. The results of the activity showed that most students previously did not understand that actions such as hitting, teasing, threatening, and bullying could constitute illegal acts. Through the students’ active participation in the discussion sessions, there was an increase in their understanding of the impacts of violence, legal consequences, the importance of respecting others’ rights, and peaceful conflict resolution. This activity demonstrates that an educational and preventive approach through legal awareness campaigns is effective in building students’ legal awareness and supporting the creation of a safe, comfortable, and violence-free school environment.
Yohanes Leonardus NgompatDwityas Witarti RabawatiFilemon Fridolino NgebosEka Cahyo SaputraAlexander JorgiPetrus Faot

This study explores the potential use of artificial intelligence (AI) for community-based tourism promotion through a community engagement program conducted in Dokan Tourism Village, North Sumatra. A case study approach was employed, with data collected through participant observation, digital artifact documentation, descriptive pretest-posttest assessments, feedback questionnaires, and informal discussions throughout the program. A total of 17 participants, including members of the tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis), youth organization members, cultural practitioners, and traditional musical instrument artisans, participated in AI training for tourism content production. The findings indicate that AI has the potential to expand community digital participation in tourism promotion, particularly through the creation of promotional visuals using simple prompts on mobile devices. Pretest-posttest results showed improvements in participants’ understanding of AI for cultural storytelling (1.41 to 2.75), the role of communication technology in tourism promotion (1.53 to 2.58), their ability to explain Dokan Village culture to visitors (1.47 to 2.33), and their understanding of how to communicate local culture to tourists (1.94 to 2.33). However, the study also found that AI has limitations in representing local culture contextually and tends to generate more generic cultural representations that differ from authentic Karo culture. The academic contribution of this study lies in extending discussions on AI in community-based tourism by demonstrating how local communities act as cultural interpretation mediators when evaluating AI-generated outputs, while also identifying the phenomenon of cultural flattening in local cultural representation. Practically, the findings suggest that the use of AI for tourism promotion and cultural preservation should be accompanied by critical AI literacy, context-sensitive prompt development skills, and the active involvement of local communities to ensure culturally accurate representations within digital communication ecosystems.
Anis HamidatiFeronika Berutu

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in supporting the community's economy. However, MSMEs still face various challenges in managing their businesses, particularly in digital marketing and accounting. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of MSMEs in Selebung Village in utilizing digital marketing and implementing simple accounting records in business management. The activity was implemented through several stages: observation and problem identification, program planning, outreach and training, and mentoring for 15 participants. The methods used included lectures, discussions, and simple practices related to the use of digital media for marketing activities and recording cash inflows and outflows. The results of the activity showed that most MSMEs previously maintained manual financial records and had not optimally utilized social media to promote their products. After participating in the outreach and training activities, participants experienced an increased understanding of the importance of accounting records and the use of digital platforms as a means of product marketing. Through this activity, it is hoped that MSMEs will be able to manage their businesses more effectively, increase their competitiveness, and support business sustainability in the digital era.
Syarifah Massuki FitriMuhammad SyukriSuandi Suandi

The use of social media among adolescents significantly affects students' communication patterns, especially in interpersonal and public communication. The frequency of gadget use has enabled students to communicate more easily via digital media than through face-to-face communication. Such a situation has consequences for students' self-confidence, formal communication, and their ability to serve as master of ceremonies, moderators, and news presenters. The purpose of this community service is to improve the public communication skills of 11 students at SMA Dharma Suci through public communication training. This training focused on improving students' capabilities as masters of ceremonies, moderators, and news presenters in schools. Some techniques used include interactive lecturing, public communication workshops, simulation, news reading, presentation individually or in groups, and discussion interactively. The program stage was divided into three phases: preparation, implementation, and evaluation by using pre-test, post-test, observation, and documentation techniques.
Surianto SuriantoAnis Hamidati

Maubesi Village is an area with significant potential for the development of eucalyptus (Melaleuca cajuputi). The Faot Bano Farmers Group utilizes this plant through distillation using a simple distillation apparatus made from a rust-proof drum, with an ineffective cooling system, resulting in low eucalyptus oil yield. Recognizing this potential, a eucalyptus oil distillation technology mentoring program was conducted to improve farmers' technical capacity in the production process and to improve the yield and quality of the eucalyptus oil produced. The program methods included knowledge transfer, distillation equipment operational training, and hands-on distillation practice using appropriate and easy-to-operate distillation equipment. The distillation process, which takes 4-5 hours, produces an oil yield of 1.5 liters (1.5%) from 100 kg of eucalyptus leaves. The oil yield increased compared to before the mentoring program, and the oil quality met better visual and aromatic characteristics. This activity proves that the application of appropriate distillation technology and supported by continuous mentoring can increase the production and quality of eucalyptus oil, and has the potential to strengthen the economic independence of the Maubesi Village community based on local resources.
Jefrianus NinoYakobus Pffeferius Edvent Saba AguAloisius Loka SonHandrianus MentuI Ketut SumantarI Ketut WidnyanaSekar Wangi

The development of information technology has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including in the field of religious services. The church as a religious institution has a responsibility to convey information, coordinate activities, and establish effective communication with the congregation. The GKPB Philadelphia Legian Congregation Church has so far relied on conventional communication media such as bulletin boards and direct information delivery during services. This method has limitations in terms of reach and speed of information dissemination. Therefore, a digital media is needed that can facilitate the delivery of information, increase congregation participation, and support church service activities on an ongoing basis. Utilizing the church's official website as an information and communication center is one way to solve these problems. This community service activity is carried out through several stages including Needs Analysis, Website Design and Development, as well as Socialization and Training for church administrators on how to manage and update website content. Community service activities through the use of the website at the GKPB Philadelphia Legian Congregation Church can improve the effectiveness of church communication and services. This website is a strategic tool in supporting information dissemination and increasing congregation involvement.
I Made Dwi ArdiadaGerson FeohPutu Wida GunawanPrastyadi Wibawa RahayuI Nyoman BernadusI Gede Pramana Ade SaputraAgus Tommy Adi Prawira Kusuma

This community service program was implemented in Kurung Kambing Village, Mandalawangi District, Pandeglang Regency, which faces the problem of declining soil fertility due to dependence on chemical fertilizers and low water absorption capacity, which causes flooding during the rainy season and drought during the dry season. This activity aims to increase the community's capacity to apply environmentally friendly agricultural technologies through training in the production of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) containing phytohormones and biopore infiltration holes. The implementation method was carried out in three stages: preparation, training, and evaluation. The training materials included the theory and practice of making POC from local ingredients such as shallots and corn, as well as techniques for creating and maintaining biopores for water conservation. The program was actively participated in by the community and local farmer groups through demonstrations and field practice. Evaluation results showed that participants were able to produce POC independently and apply biopore technology to their agricultural land. Most participants demonstrated an increased understanding of soil fertility management and water conservation, and reported improved plant growth and increased crop productivity compared to before the training. The application of biopores also provided tangible benefits in the form of reduced waterlogging during the rainy season and maintained soil moisture during the dry season. In addition to improving the technical aspects of cultivation, this program has successfully increased community awareness, independence, and confidence in adopting sustainable agricultural technologies. Thus, the integration of phytohormone-enriched Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) and biopores provides a simple, locally resource-based technology that is effective in supporting agricultural resilience and environmental conservation at the village level.
Sodikin SodikinShinta Permana PutriGuntur Bagus PamungkasNurhasanah NurhasanahIla Fadila

The shift from regional languages to the national language is now a widespread phenomenon in the domestic sphere of the Sasak community. This study aims to explain the role of parents in implementing a bilingual family strategy (bilingualism) as a concrete effort to maintain and preserve the Sasak language within the family environment. The approach used was descriptive qualitative. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and open-ended questionnaires with Sasak parents in Lombok. Field findings indicate that parents implement three main strategies: the One Parent, One Language (OPOL) method, limiting the scope of language use (Sasak for the domestic sphere), and guided code-switching. The main obstacles faced include the dominant use of the national language and the lack of Sasak-language educational media for children. The consistent implementation of the bilingual strategy has proven effective as the first foundation for preventing language shift.
Baiq Yulia Kurnia WahidahWahidatul Murtafi’ahEvi Safitri Yulandari
